W232-5270 Black Water-Based Dual-Layer Non-Stick Coating
Categorize: Thermal-set Coating Series for Electrical Appliance
Product Details
Product Description and Main Performance
The black water-based dual-layer non-stick coating has excellent corrosion resistance, outstanding adhesion, superior flexibility, excellent non-stick properties, and excellent wear resistance. It meets the requirements of FDA, LFGB, RoHS, GB4806.10, and other food hygiene and environmental protection standards.
Suitable Substrates
The coating is suitable for aluminum and stainless steel substrates, and is recommended for use on non-stick cookware such as frying pans, woks, baking trays, and soup pots. Before using this coating, please obtain samples from the local distributor or office to evaluate the performance and applicability of the coating.

Substrate Pre-Treatment and Application Conditions
Substrate Pre-Treatment:
Remove surface contaminants and dust through chemical cleaning;
If necessary, remove residual grease by heating to 380-430°C;
Roughen the substrate surface using methods such as sandblasting, polishing, and chemical etching;
Iron and stainless steel substrates: blast clean to international standard ISO-8501, Sa2.5 grade, maintaining a surface roughness of Ra = 2-5 micrometers;
Aluminum substrates: the surface should not show residual oil, grease, or dust upon visual inspection. There should be no loose oxide, rust, paint, or foreign matter. Any trace of contaminants should appear as small dots or slight streaks. The surface roughness should be maintained at Ra = 2-5 micrometers.
Application Conditions:
Maintain a clean environment to avoid contaminants like dust and oil or water droplets in compressed air, which can cause pinholes or spots in the coating.
The substrate should be preheated if the ambient humidity is high or the substrate is too cold, as condensation might occur.
Application Process
Coating Preparation:
Prior to use, rotate the coating on a rolling machine at 30-50 RPM for 30-50 minutes to fully disperse any sediment;
If necessary, dilute with deionized water;
Filter through a 100-150 mesh filter before use.
Spraying Process
Primer Spraying: Use a spray gun with a 1.3-1.5mm nozzle. Control the film thickness at 20-30 micrometers. Excessively thick coatings may cause bubbling or cracking, while too thin coatings may reduce adhesion and corrosion resistance.
Primer Flash Drying: After applying the primer, dry it in an oven at 140-180°C for 5-10 minutes.
Topcoat Spraying: Use a spray gun with a 1.3-1.5mm nozzle. Control the film thickness at 10-15 micrometers. Too thick a coat may cause cracking, while too thin a coat may reduce non-stick performance.
Topcoat Curing: After spraying the topcoat, bake it in a 380-400°C oven for 5-10 minutes. The temperature increase should be controlled to ensure the workpiece reaches the curing temperature within 8-10 minutes. Rapid heating may cause bubbling in the coating.
Precautions
1. Store in a sealed container, away from sunlight, and in a cool, dry place between 5-30°C;
2. To prevent sedimentation and clumping, it is recommended to roll the coating in a rolling machine at 30-50 RPM for 20-40 minutes every two weeks;
3. The shelf life of this product is 6 months.
